Conditions of Membership
The joining fee is:£12.00 for all ages. The annual renewal fee is £6.00 for all ages.
The training fee is by one of the following three methods: STANDING ORDER: Up to 16yrs of age £26 per month; 16yrs and over £30 per month (includes up to 3 classes per week). PAY AS YOU GO: Up to 16yrs £4 per 90-minute class and £3 per 60-minute class. 16yrs and over £5 per 90-minute class and £4 per 60-minute class.
After 4 sessions students must become fully paid members.
Training fees must be paid in advance.
If a student does not attend training sessions for a period of two months, membership will be terminated. A rejoining fee will be required after this period.
The club is not responsible for any injury sustained by members. A statement to this effect must be signed at the time of enrolment.
Any student who is suffering from any medical condition, injury, disability or allergy e.g. asthma must inform the instructor prior to training.
Students are expected to be ready to train at the stipulated time of each session.
Finger and toenails must be kept trimmed. Jewellery (watches, necklaces, rings etc.) must not be worn during training.
All students must train on a regular basis in order to enter grading examinations in accordance with KUGB rules.
Any student that complies with rule 10 shall be permitted to enter grading examinations every 3 months (depending on grade) provided they first become a member of the Karate Union of Great Britain and hold a current licence/grading book.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE CONDITIONS OR BEHAVIOUR LIKELY TO DISCREDIT THE ART AND/OR THE CLUB WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION FROM THE CLUB. ACCEPTANCE OF MEMBERSHIP IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE PRESENT ADMINISTRATION.
